May 2011 Market Event In Pictures

 

The Chef from the Oriental Pearl restaurant was on hand to provide a cooking demonstration on oriental cuisine.

 

Sean Goldsmith from Peak FM was there, broadcasting his morning show live from the event.

 

Street entertainment was also provided, which proved a big hit with young and old.

 

The theme of the event was Food and Drink, with a number of stalls selling food and drink items presnt, including jams and preserves and speciality cheeses.

 

The event also ran a free to enter raffle, with prizes sponsored by Spendloves the Butchers, the Oriental Pearl, Poshfit and the Crown Inn at Higham.

 

The regular Saturday market was present with people coming out despite the poor weather to support their local market.
