New recruits get stuck in!
Candidates who are preparing to work at Tesco’s new Clay Cross town centre store have been taking part in community projects to help develop their team building skills – here they are hard at work!
The projects were organised as part of an innovative partnership between North East Derbyshire District Council, Tesco, Jobcentre Plus, Chesterfield College and the Skills Funding Agency, which secured over 150 of the jobs at the new store for local, long-term unemployed people.
The group don their overalls and get stuck into painting a classroom at Holmgate Primary School.
